Slums and the right to Adequate housing (constitutional study)
Abstract
Adequate housing is one of the tasks that the state has to provide to its citizens in order for a person to live in his own home without harassment or inconvenience from anyone, and whose responsibility falls on the state not to storm any of hte housing of any individual or to search or violate its sanctity except in accordance with the law and legally defined eases. This is what is stipulated in the national constitutions, the universal declarations of Human Rights and the international Convention on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights and its affirmation of the prohibition of transgressing the individual's housing and privacy. And the failure to provide adequate housing by the state pushes the person to live in public places owned by the state in preparation for building a family and security home from them, and these places have increased in a way that has become a problem facing the state in not securing adequte housing in accordance with the provisions of the constitution, which eventually led to large housing slums far from the organization, admisistration and oversight by the state.
