Abstract

The study of the power of the state and the foundations of this force is of exceptional necessity. Its results impose preliminary conclusions on any contemporary study in the geopolitical and geostrategic fields. Therefore, Iran sought to rebuild its regional role through a series of changes in the region, exploiting its civilizational and cultural heritage, over its regional neighborhood enabled it to use its geostrategic and geopolitical weight to assert itself as a regional power. Despite Iran's geopolitical position vis-a-vis neighboring countries, but it created a religious security concern as it is located in the vicinity of an Arab surrounding, that led to formation of combat environment in its regional surroundings, hence the study derives its importance from being an attempt to identify the nature of the geopolitical and geostrategic constituents possessed by Iran, and to identify and analyze the most prominent geopolitical problems in Iran's power, and to clarify its future geostrategic performance within the strategic analysis.
