The impact of using virtual reality glasses in learning the art of performing several offensive skills in basketball
Abstract
The study aims to:Identifying the differences in pre-and post-tests in learning the art of performing several basic offensive skills in basketball for the experimental and control groups. It also aims to reveal the differences in post-tests between the experimental and control groups in learning the art of performing several basic offensive skills in basketball. The researchers used the experimental method for its suitability and nature of the research. The research sample consisted of 16 learners from the Sanharib Sports Club Academy. The researchers used the arithmetic mean, standard deviation, and the t-test value for the independent and dependent groups to extract the results. The researchers concluded that there are statistically significant differences between the pre-and post-tests for both groups in learning the art of performing several basic offensive skills in basketball, with the experimental group outperforming the control group in the post-skill test. The researchers recommend adopting virtual reality glasses in learning other basic basketball skills and emphasizing the use of virtual reality glasses in learning skills in other activities.
