A Comparative study of several bio-kinematic variables of shooting (frontal-lateral) from a static position with or without a defensive marker for advanced female basketball players

The current study aims to:
Identify the values of several bio-kinematic variables for shooting (frontallateral) from a static position with or without a defensive marker for advanced female basketball players.
Identify the differences between the values of several bio-kinematic variables for shooting (frontallateral) from a static position with or without a defensive marker for advanced female basketball players.

To achieve the research objectives, the researchers hypothesized the following:

There are statistically significant differences between the values of several biokinetic variables for shooting (frontallateral) from a static position with or without a defensive marker for advanced female basketball players.
The researchers used the descriptive method with a causal-comparative approach for its suitability and the nature of the research. The research community consisted of 16 players from Akad Sports Club in Erbil Governorate. The research sample was intentionally selected and consisted of 8 players who use right-arm shooting, representing 50% of the research community.
The research experiment was filmed on Friday, 3/6/2022 at 3 PM in the sports hall of Akad Ankawa Sports Club. The researchers used a 1-meter ruler and two Sony cameras with 100 frames/second speedto film the experiment.
The researchers concluded the following:
There are statistically significant differences in several bio-kinematic variables between frontal and lateral shooting with the marker.
There are no statistically significant differences between the values of several bio-kinematic variables for frontal shooting and lateral shooting at the moment of release without the marker.
