Abstract

Main Objectives of the Study:To identify the relationship between kinematic variables and the pulling and pushing forces among national team players in the archery event.To determine the magnitude and level of the relationship between kinematic variables and the pulling and pushing forces among national team players in the archery event.The Researchers Hypothesized:There is a significant correlation between kinematic variables and the pulling and pushing forces among national team players in the archery event.There is a variation in the magnitude and level of the relationship between kinematic variables and the pulling and pushing forces among national team players in the archery event.Study Procedures:The researchers used the descriptive method due to its suitability for the nature of the study. The study sample was deliberately selected, consisting of national team players in Olympic recurve archery for the 2021-2022 sports season, totaling (4) playersdata collection methods included (testing and measurement - scientific and technical observation). The study sample was filmed using (5) video cameras, one with a speed of (1000 frames/second) and the others with speeds of (240 frames/second), each camera having a specific function. The statistical methods used by the researchers included (arithmetic mean - standard deviation - percentage - Pearsons simple correlation coefficient - effect size of the correlation coefficient).The Researchers Concluded:All significant correlations achieved by the kinematic variables with the pulling and pushing force tests, totaling (12) correlations, were positive except for the variable (trunk tilt angle backward at the moment of release), which achieved two significant negative correlations, one with the pulling force test and the other with the pushing force test.The magnitude of the relationship between all kinematic variables and the specific tests of the study that achieved significant correlations was large.
