The self-esteem of players of some team sports for sports clubs in Nineveh Governorate

The study aims to:Identify the level of self-esteem among players of some sports clubs in Nineveh Governorate. The researchers used the descriptive method for its suitability and nature of the research. The study community consisted of players from some sports clubs in team sports (football, volleyball, basketball) in Nineveh Governorate, who were intentionally selected. The study sample consisted of 270 players representing 13 clubs in Nineveh Governorate. The researchers used the Rosenberg Self-Esteem Scale and applied it to a sample of 230 players. They used the statistical package (SPSS) to obtain the arithmetic mean, standard deviation, t-test for two independent samples, and Pearson's correlation coefficient.The researchers concluded that players of some sports clubs in Nineveh Governorate have a high degree of self-esteem.
