Abstract
The study aims to:
Develop a test to measure the explosive leg power specific to advanced parkour gymnasts.
To set standards for the explosive leg power test specific to advanced parkour gymnasts.
A descriptive survey method was used, and the research community consisted of 65 advanced parkour gymnasts in Mosul city. The research sample included 50 players, representing 77% of the research community. The researchers developed a special test to measure the explosive leg power specific to parkour gymnastics by following the scientific construction procedures, and the statistical package (SPSS) was used. The following conclusions were reached:
A long jump test with three steps over a hurdle was developed to measure the explosive leg power specific to parkour gymnasts, and its effectiveness was proven.
Standards were set for the long jump test with three steps over a hurdle specific to parkour gymnasts.
