Classification of Basketball Players According to Akramov’s Selection Criteria in Premier League Clubs in Iraq

Research Objectives:1. To identify the types of selection used for basketball players in premier league clubs in Iraq.2. To classify basketball players based on the types of selection, namely field, experimental, and composite.3. To determine the most common types of selection used for basketball players in premier league clubs in Iraq.Research Methodology: The researchers utilized the descriptive survey method due to its suitability for this research.Research Population and Sample: The research population comprises premier league basketball players in Iraq from 2020 to 2021. The intentional sample represented 61% of the research population.Tools Used: Information was collected using a questionnaire and personal interviews. Statistical methods like percentage, arithmetic mean, standard deviation, standard scores, and range were employed.
