Abstract
The study aims at showing:
- The effect of using balls of different weights and sizes on passing and shooting accuracy for the three experimental groups.
- The significance of the statistical differences in passing and shooting accuracy among the three experimental groups in the post test.
The experimental method has been used in the study, the groups has been deliberately chosen, it consists of 24 players who were randomly divided into three experimental groups.
The first procedure was a questionnaire to determine the skill test, the second procedure was choosing three exercises for each skill under investigation, then the training program was decided, three pilot study were conducted.
Pre- skill tests were conducted in one day, and then the training program was carried out, post- skill tests were conducted after finishing the training program, the results were extracted statistically by using(spss).
Conclusions:
- the three experimental groups have done a good progress in all skills in favor of the post test.
- the three experimental groups have done no good progress in all skills when comparing the results of the post test.
Recommendations:
- football coaches should use tools similar to the performance in order to give the players enough time to feel the tool and carry out other skills.
- It is necessary to adopt similar training programs to under 19 years and adult players to improve the skills under investigation.
