This is because of the effects, rights and duties it entails, and the dowry is one of the wifes rights, and the purpose of offering the dowry to her is; Out of pride, honor and appreciation for her, and a declaration of his desire to seek marriage with her, and to bring pleasure to her, and by it the law guarantees that the contract will not be negligent and respected. In addition to that, it is desirable to make the dowries easy and to make its expenses easy, and not to go to extremes in it, because by it marriage is achieved, and by it the immunity of young men and women prevails, and by it Weaken evil and corrupt impulses, thus ensuring the individuals well-being and society.
