Abstract

This research aims to uncover the effectiveness of narrative focalization in the novel Yenal by novelist Amjad Tawfiq in creating a rich fictional universe with intricate storytelling, dynamic narrative movement, and a profound depiction of characters' emotions, social rituals, and human moments within its narrative representation. It shapes narrative scenes, deepens reader-text interaction, and skillfully portrays the intensity of reality, the overwhelming presence of emotions, the delicacy of sentiments, the bitterness of loss, and the harshness of misunderstandings about human existence in everyday life.Additionally, the study seeks to explore the effectiveness of narration, whether produced by the narrator or one of the novels characters, as well as its role in driving the narrative forward. Particular attention is given to the narrators control over event sequences and diverse characters, which enable the revelation of reality. As the most influential element in shaping the novels nature, the narrator determines its trajectories and diagnoses its thematic directions.
