Abstract

This research tagged "The Book of Capital of Nadim by Abu Abbas Al-Qashi (D. 510 A.H. / 1116 A.D.) as a historical source" aims to display the book and analyze its content and indicate its importance as a source for the study of Islamic history in different historical periods without Al-Qashi in his book, and there is no doubt that such studies are matters of care because of the importance they carry in the statement of the authors' approach in their books and the analysis of what they contained of scientific material, and this research is only an attempt to participate in these studies hoping that We add to the heritage of our libraries what is new and original, where the study deals with the definition of the book "Capitals of Nadim "In terms of naming and proving the attribution of the book to its work, analyzing the introduction and conclusion of the book, describing the manuscript of the book and its editions, indicating its historical and scientific importance, and the reasons for its authorship.
