Abstract

This research deals with the imperative verb and its meaning in the poem ((Walk in Gods way until the end)) by Abu Bahaa Al-Din Al-Sayyadi (d. 1287 AH); Because the imperative has many connotations and many functional characteristics It does not apply to the situation and its meanings are affected by the context and evidence of the circumstances.The poem ((Walk in the path of God until the end)) by Al-Sayyadi included many imperative verbs, They numbered fifty-five verbs, and varied between abstract, augmented, correct, and irregular, and came out From its original connotations to other connotations that were deduced through the context and evidence of circumstances, this came, The research aims to clarify these implications and introduce Abu Bahaa al-Din al-Sayyadi, his scientific personality, and his effortsWhich appears through his travels and writings, especially in the field of poetry.
