Abstract

The research addresses the definition of the shops on the eastern side of the city of Baghdad ,especially since Baghdad was famous for its large shops in the early days of its establishment and development ,and what is related to the naming of these shops ,their geographical location, the political ,religious, social and cultural activity of these shops, and a statement of the distinguished scholars who belong to them who had a prominent role in life .Scientific, religious and political in Baghdad. These areas also witnessed the emergence of important social formations in first Abbasid era that played a prominent role in the public life of the city of Baghdad in particular . The research included an introduction and a number of points that it included talking about the shops of the eastern side the city of Baghdad in detail, as well as Appendices contain all the information related to the scholars of the eastern side of the city of Baghdad which included the names of the scholars, the places to which they belong ,their jobs , their sects, the year of their birth and death, the position they held, their works, and a conclusion in which we talked about the most important conclusions reached by the researcher
