Abstract

Anyone who follows the role of women in Islamic history will find that there are many women who had prominent roles and contributions in various Sharia sciences, which had an impact on advancement and scientific and cultural progress. A group of women emerged whose role in caring for the Sharia sciences had to be demonstrated.The study dealt with clarifying the role and status of women in the Islamic sciences in terms of learning and teaching. Through our research, we found that women had a share in studying and working in Sharia sciences in Iraq and the Levant during the sixth and seventh centuries.
