Abstract

The current research aims at constructing a proposed counseling program (by stopping thoughts) to modify the irrational thoughts of divorced women. For the purpose of measuring the irrational thoughts, an irrational thoughts scale of divorced women is constructed, which has a number of items (29) items, and the alternatives are (always agree, sometimes agree, disagree). In its final form after ascertaining the psychometric characteristics, the researcher has administered the scale to the basic and adult research sample (200) of divorced women in Baghdad governorate who are selected randomly and distributed in six sections in (Karkh - Rusafa) in the year 2022-2023.
