Abstract

Obaid bin Al-Abras is considered one of the muallaqat poets in the pre-Islamic era. This research is to stand at the poetic verses in which the prosodic rotation occurs, especially the poems in which this phenomenon is repeated, in order to reach logical answers, about several questions that can be asked , On three levels: (weight, rhyme, and poetic purpose), and the questions lie about the following contents: Is there a relationship between rotation and the type of sea or not? And did the rotation replace the usual verse in the first verse of the poem or not, then the research is in the relationship that links the verse between the rotation and the poetic purpose or the significance that ends it .We have covered in the following table: the graph in the graph
