In general, the research included two axes: the first is theoretical, and it was represented by a theoretical approach to the concept of the job, the narrator, and the short story, through which we studied the linguistic and idiomatic meaning of each of (the job, the narrator, and the short story), and the task of the narrator and his functions in the literary text. The second, the constructive functions, which are identified by the coordinating, indicative, indicative, and expressive functions. Finally, the conclusion, and a list of sources and references.
