Abstract

Language is the primary means of human communication with others, as he uses it in his conversations and discussions, so I use it in his conversations and discussions, and it fell into earlier disciplines such as psychology and sociology. The seventies of the twentieth century witnessed the modern thought represented in Pragmatics that appeared at the hands of Austin and developed it, and she in turn was interested in the study of language, in addition to how people understand each other, and pragmatics proceeds from a basic rule that when we say a word, we actually accomplish, actually the speaker in various denominators This study has taken the Diwan of Antara as an applied field for it, and it was limited to the expressive aspects only to reveal to us through models selected from his Diwan about psychological and social situations that the poet lived at the time, which enabled us to touch his intention and approach the reality of living, which in turn portrayed the Arab reality in those time period.
