Critical thinking skills of outstanding high school students in the city of Mosul

Abstract

This research aims to examine levels of critical thinking Skills among Distinguished Students in high schools . To achieve the main goal for this research, the research used California measurement)CCTST2000) . The number of the random sample was (100) students in two high Distinguished schools in Mosul. The results of the research show that the degree of critical thinking among members of the sample of the study is below the acceptable average. The results did not show statistically significant differences in the level of critical thinking according to gender or level of the study. based on these results, the researcher made a number of recommendations and suggestions.
