Abstract

The research seeks to shed light on the great economic problems that the authority of Dehli was exposed to and the increase in its danger and its evils during the reign of Sultan Alaeddin Al-Khaleji.These problems are due to the large expenditures incurred by the state due to the repeated Mongol invasions, the fact that the armies of Dehli were repelling them and turning them back on their heels losers, but that was costing the armies of Dehli huge sums of money, and the expansionist letters that Aladdin was waging from time to time were very expensive, added to this, the expenditures of the civil and military administration, and although the states income was large, it is not sufficient for the many burdens. Aladdin worked to raise the income by pouring pots of gold and silver as currency, checking the taxes received from my country from the states and determining the tax or raising it to (50 %) of the production of the agricultural crop, but that is not enough, so Aladdin decided to reduce the salaries of the soldiers, and at the same time every year he was keen to exhaust them with the burden of living, so he decided to reduce the prices of basic commodities that are indispensable to the individual in his daily life, so he organized an administration market. The research is based on a number of sources and references related to the history of Islamic India.
