The poetic metaphor in Arabic literature an applied theory
Abstract
The research presents rhetorical theses in analyzing texts and mixing them with contemporary critical terms. The research includes five sections and an introduction. the introduction, it is in the general concepts of metaphor, and the first topic is in the relationship of metaphor to perception, and the second topic is in metaphor and mimesis, and the third, fourth and fifth are in the application The term metaphor refers to a variety of texts that begin with the Quranic text, poetic, and then prose. In this research, we try to develop ancient rhetorical theses, and make them a field for criticism and reading texts, and the term poetics reinforces our vision because it means studying literary genres or studying literary theory and analyzing texts and showing its ability to accomplish literary text by using language and activating its communicative and suggestive functions. We point out that contemporary culture has lost many elements of figurative thinking because of its reliance on visual communication and image reading.
