Abstract

This research is entitled (The Rhetoric of Symbol in the Stories of Fatih Abdussalam, the Story of Ghazoon Alkharshody as a Model- a Critical Rhetoric Study). It is based on the observance of the manifestations of symbol and its rhetoric inside the narrative structure of the writer Fatih Abdussalam. We choose the story of (Ghazoon alkharshody) as the model for this study as its text is rich with symbols and its frequent coding that deepens the existence of heritage on the levels of the title, the characters, the event and the structure of the text, time and place. The research included a preamble and four sections. The preamble comprised the linguistic and expressional definitions of the symbol. The first section included the study of symbol in the event. The second section included the study of symbol in characters. The third tackled the symbol in the texts structure. The fourth tackled the symbo in time and place. The research then was concluded with the most important results.
