Psychological Resilience of in the Students of Mosul University
Abstract
The aim of the research is to identify the level of psychological resilience among the students of the University of Mosul, and to identify the significance of the differences in psychological resilience among the members of the research sample according to the variables (study specialization, gender, grade the study). To achieve the objectives of the research, the researchers applied the Psychological Resilience Scale (Al-Shaboul 2017) to a sample of (800) male and female students who were randomly selected from the colleges of the University of Mosul. The validity and reliability of the scale were verified, and the research reached the following results:1.Mosul University students have an appropriate level of psychological resilience. 2. There are no statistically significant differences in the level of psychological resilience between males and females. 3. The students of the scientific specialization outperformed the students of the humanitarian specialization in psychological resilience. 4. Third graders outperform first graders in psychological resilience
