Abstract

Al-Waqidi is one of the oldest historians who wrote about the battles and scholars of his time considered him one of the vessels of knowledge due to the breadth of his knowledge and the abundance of his writings, as he is indispensable to anyone who writes about the battles.
As for this study, Al-Waqidi explained the military role of theimmigrants in the Battle of Uhud. After research, it became clear that they had an important military role. Al-Waqidi mentions the names of fifteen immigrants who had a military role. What indicates their role is that the standard-bearer of the immigrants, Mus'ab bin Umair (may Allah be pleased with him), wrote the most wonderful epics in his deadly defense of the standard, as well as the role of the companion Ali bin Abi Talib (may Allah be pleased with him), who killed the standard-bearer of the polytheists, Talha bin Abi Talha, and other important roles of the immigrants in this battle, which were mentioned in detail in this study.
