Abstract

The Holy Quran has a unique style in conveying the divine intentions of Allah whether through affirmation or negation command or prohibition. This is evident in several Quranic verses where Allah affirms a matter and then negates it using specific linguistic tools and structures.this phenomenon which is part of the Quranic miraculous nature prompted us to study these verses. Our research aims to analyze and describe a selection of verses that exhibit this recurring pattern addressing the key question: How does Allah affirm something and then negate it? the answer lies in the necessity of using this rhetorical method to ensure that negation fully achieves its essence and attributes. In this study the selected verses have been examined in the order of their occurrence in the Quran
