Abstract

"This research aims to examine the slogans and chants of the 1919 Revolution in Egypt. The significance of the study lies in its attempt to highlight the most prominent slogans and chants associated with this revolution, which reflect the views of various segments of the Egyptian population, including the general public, intellectuals, and the working class, in their resistance to British colonial rule. The research covers several topics, starting with a brief overview of the 1919 Revolution and an explanation of the economic and social factors that led to its outbreak. It then discusses the political leadership of the revolution, led by Saad Zaghloul and his party, the Wafd Party. Finally, the research examines the most important slogans and chants that emerged during this revolution."
