Abstract

This subject is ( Denotation of blood in the Akkadian language) of important topics in the Akkadian language because of frequent semantic changes that occur in the meaning of the individual under study (damu: blood) those changes have varied between being a real-time rule type text ruled by context or methodology of ruled by time and place. So the study, have concluded to a number of results that comes in the forefront the clarity of voluntarily Akkadian language through sharp contrast in a sign when we find indicating the killer sometimes indicating the slain other times . Something can not be reflected in the language is it has not come a long way from maturity of language. If Single out from its original meaning to the other meanings ; it has a noble human dimensions as indicating kinship or tribal or social dimensions in showing revenge or blood money or high moral values in showing to the Covenant. those obvious moral Dimensions embodied in the individual significance of the victory sometimes revenge in other times and their meaning are signs almost confused for the student if not careful and experienced in understanding the meaning. They relate to the principle of the important principles of human justice which is the principle of retribution .
