Diseases &Epidemics and Their impact on The Public life Style in The Umayyad Age (41-132A.H./661-749A.D.) (The Plague Epidemic is a Model)
Abstract
This study deals with talking about one of the most dangerous epidemics and diseases that struck Muslim countries in the earliest days of Islam H 132-41 and their impact on public life , This research represents that plague it deadly and infectious disease, which lead to death. For being the disease very dangerous, it called Black Death.The human get infection when the small microbe enter his body, which come from fleas that live on rats and mice body.There are causes for spread this disease, and the most dangers way is by spoilt water and air.It had been known that this disease come from central Asia to the Islamic lands by trading cavavans. And for it's significant the God mentioned it in the holly of Koran, and the prophet Mohammed tell about this disease in many occasions in his says.It seems that Alomayia State (41A.H. 133 A.H.) (661 A.D-749A.D) had been dealed with this disease many times from its beginning to the end, in Iraq, Egypt, Sham, and Maghreb.The disease caused to death many famous people like Al-Moghira ben Shoba, Ziad ben Abihi, Alwaleed ben Yazid, Yazid ben Waleed ben Abdul Malik and Aiub Al Sakhastani and others.
