Abstract

The study aims to studying the spatial variation of the distribution of large manufacturing industries in Iraq for the year 2010. The concept of large manufacturing industries, which employs 30 workers and more, was studied and the structure of the large manufacturing industries in the country, which consists of (553) industrial establishments, (284) industrial establishments, followed by food industries ranked second (158) industrial establishments, followed by the chemical industries and oil and coal and plastic products ranked third with 38 industrial establishments, while the other industries, Base metals are the last. (8) industrial categories distributed to the governorates, the construction industries ranked first in terms of industrial establishments, while the food products industry came at the rank of Second, the research concluded with conclusions and proposals
