Abstract

The study aimed to investigate the comparison degree between the Arabic grammar book in Iraq and the grammar book and the linguistic applications in Jordan into Functional Grammar from Teachers Perspective, the study used descriptive approach, the researcher developed the questionnaire a tool to achieve goal of the study. It consisted of (20) paragraphs, divided into three fields are: (Selected topics, presentation methods, evaluation) as the validity of the tool was verified by presenting it to a panel of juries, and after verifying the validity and reliability of the questionnaire, the researcher applied it to a random sample consisting of (114) teachers working in Nineveh Directorate of education in Nineveh Iraq and (116) teachers who work in the first Directorate of education Irbid Jordan. The results of the study showed the degree of observance of the Arabic grammar book for the fourth preparatory grade school in Iraq and the grammar book and linguistic applications for the tenth grade basic in Jordan was average, as the field of presentation methods in the two books came in first place, the evaluation field came in second place, and finally, the subject area came in the third rank.
