The Guardian of the Prophet's (PBUH) Seal, Muaqib al-Dawsi – A study in his biography –
Abstract
The research dealt with the biography and life of the companion Muaqib al-Dawsi, son of Fatima, he belongs to al-Awsi tribe, and he was one of the first companions who represented the first generation of believers and predecessors who believed in God and His Noble Messenger, and was among the immigrants to Abyssinia when the persecution of the polytheists increased to the Messenger (PBUH) and the early Muslims in Mecca, and he was trusted by him. The Prophet (PBUH) entrusted him with his ring which he uses and seals his letters and correspondences, and this seal remained with him until the death of the Messenger Muhammad (PBUH). And he narrated it to the people, as he narrated more than ten hadiths, to come in the year 40 AH and the curtain on his life was revealed by his death (PBUH) at the end of the era of Caliph Ali bin Abi Talib (PBUH).
