Abstract

This research examines the impact of Saah al-Din al-Ayyubis personality on poetry in the fifth and sixth centuries of the Hegira. During these centuries, poets addressed the events faced by the Islamic nation, particularly the crusader occupation of holy places and Islamic territories, They reflected on this period until Allah prepared for the nation someone who would restore its dignity, honor, and glory, namely the jihadist leader Sultan Salah al-Din.The research focuses on two main axes:The first axis discusses the braver, Jihad, and heroism embodied by this hero and manifested in practical reality with sincerity and integrity.The second axis examines justice, generosity and munificence, forgiveness, and tolerance, even towards enemies, and fluffing commitments even with adversaries.Hence, it imperative to delve into the remarkable character of Salah al-Din for his sacrifices and rare heroism, which poets immortalized in their poetry, praising his achievements and endeavors on the battlefield in defense of Islam and its sons without fear or hesitation.
