Perceptions of physics teachers towards employing artificial intelligence applications in teaching physics at the secondary school in the Mosul city
Abstract
The study aimed to identify the perceptions of physics teachers, both male and female, towards employing artificial intelligence applications in teaching physics at the secondary level in the Mosul city, and the challenges of applying artificial intelligence during the teaching process. The study followed the descriptive survey method, and the research community consisted of all physics teachers for the secondary level in the city of Mosul, while the study sample consisted of (114) male and female teachers. To achieve the research objectives, the researcher prepared a questionnaire that was designed according to three axes, which are the level of knowledge and skill possessed by physics teachers in employing artificial intelligence applications, the importance of employing artificial intelligence in teaching, and the challenges of using artificial intelligence applications. The questionnaire consisted of 22 paragraphs with three alternatives (to a large degree, to a moderate degree, and to a weak degree).
