Abstract

(71) : ( (Kodur Richardson 21) . . : . : .The current research aims to know The effect of using peer toturing strategy on the achievement of Fourth secondary class students in Islamic Education. The researcher used the experimental design of two equivalent groups (i.e. experimental and control). The sample was (38)students divided into (20)in the experimental group (class A) and (18) in the control group(class B). The researcher made an achievement test in Islamic Education of (71) items characterized by validity and reliability .The following statistical means (T . test for two independent samples , item difficulty and distinction force formulae and, Kodur Richardson 21 formula) were used to analyze the data statistically . The results showed statistically significant difference between the two groups (experimental and control) in achievement and in favor of the experimental group Such results made the researcher give a number of recommendation and suggestion for example : the necessity to pay field visits to school by supervisors of Islamic Education to motivate Islamic education teachers to use different methods in teaching . As for the suggestion : initiate a study about the use of this strategy in achievement and retention of Tafseer by students of Islamic Secondary school.
