Discourse and Composition between Logic Conceptand Linguistic Reference
Abstract
. . .This study deals with the Greek influence on dividing speech into discourse and composition, its logical and philosophical concept. This concept flourished during translation movement in the Islamic Society under the reign of Al Mamoon. The logic concept underlined by philosophers for discourse and composition was not restricted for these mediums but spread in all other scientific fields, including language, as semantics was based on this. Philosophy, even nowadays, depends on truth and lie which discourse is based on. This is adopted by well known western philosophers like the English philosopher Bertrand Russell and the German one Rudolf Karnab. The study tries to form a rhetorical and linguistic concept to be used better in semanticlinguistic studies and used some unlimited references by previous scholars and linguists.
