Abstract
(T) . ( ) . In this work a new design for the thermal diffusion column which uses the flow of a hot water instead of heating wire as often used. The system was tested to find the thermal diffusion factor (T) for a mixture of Ethanol (CH3CH2OH) and distillery water. It was found that using the flow of hot water has two main advantages the first is avoiding the disconnection problems of the heating wire and the second is the equal distribution of heat in the inner tube (heating tube) which leads to increase the speed of heat stability in the heat exchange operation.
