Slums are among the problems that many developing countries suffer from, and also some developed countries, although the dimensions of the problem differ. In Iraq, the slums appeared as a result of the conditions that the country has been facing, wars, displacement, or economic conditions that the state was unable to tackle. this research attempts to identify the types of pollution and environmental pollution that have appeared in those areas, and the diseases that affected its residents, and to develop appropriate solutions that can be applied in order to provide a healthy housing environment suitable for living in terms of urban, social, economic and humanitarian. The study suggests appropriate solutions and recommendations for such random gatherings.
